Coming Soon…
The new Mae by Johanna Hehir collection is coming together beautifully at the Johanna Hehir workroom (just in time for our photoshoot next week)! Here’s a little sneak preview of the exciting new design details you can expect to see in the new collection…. very exciting stuff!
Wedding Books
We’ve been inspired by the release of Annabel Beeforth’s (founder of Love My Dress Wedding Blog) first book to do a series of blog posts about out favourite inspirational wedding books!
Even since we heard the news of Annabel’s book we’ve been impatiently waiting for the release date (after all, we are huge fans of Love My Dress Wedding Blog, it’s a treasure trove of wedding inspiration) and last week, thanks to trusty Amazon our copy finally arrived.
Style Me Vintage: Weddings is a beautifully put together inspirational guide to styling the perfect vintage wedding. It is filled with stunning photography and covers the Edwardian era, through the decades to the 1970s. We love a bit of vintage style at Johanna Hehir so we’ve been lapping up all of Annabel’s insightful vintage ideas. A great book for any vintage loving brides-to-be!

Fetcham Park
Last Monday morning Johanna and Hayley set off for Surry, to visit the lovely Laura Caudery of Parallel Venues at the historic Queen Anne mansion, Fetcham Park. Why you ask? Other than the delicious tea and cakes, because this February we are lucky enough to be able to photograph the new Johanna Hehir ‘Classic’ collection at this stunning venue with photographer Lucy Davenport.
A little bit about Fetcham Park….. a very special Grade II listed house, built in around 1705 by one of the leading architects of the time. Set amidst beautiful landscaped gardens in the heart of Surrey, Fetcham Park is a magnificent Queen Anne mansion combining historical charm, romantic elegance and modern facilities. Available exclusively for your day, the house is fully licensed for civil ceremonies and offers a tapestry of rooms ready to be configured to your individual requirements.
With its elegant interior and ceiling murals depicting scenes of the marriage between Cupid and Psyche, The Shell Room is ideal for intimate ceremonies and wedding breakfasts. Panoramic views of the impressive gardens and fountains can be enjoyed from within, while French doors lead out on to the patio for drinks receptions during the warmer months.
We can’t wait to share with you the images from our photoshoot on the 24th February (we are impatiently counting down the days), so watch this space for the latest Johanna Hehir designs!!
