Founder and Creative Director, Johanna Hehir, is a British born designer with over 25 years experience. Johanna has lived in Ireland, Australia, England, and now resides in New Zealand where she designs and manufactures her made to order bridal dresses.
Johanna draws upon inspirations from past eras to create her unique, hand made collection of effortlessly feminine bridal dresses with signature figure-flattering cuts and delicate hand finishing.
After studying design and pattern making in Ireland, Johanna went on to create theatre costumes at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin. Johanna enjoyed working for London designers such as Zandra Rhodes, Jeff Banks at Warehouse, and Catherine Walker (who dressed The Princess of Wales), before launching her own fashion label in 1993.
Johanna designed and retailed her first bridal collection in 1998 from her London boutique. Bridal soon became her main focus and in the years following she has become well known for her unique cuts and romantic detailing. Johanna’s bridal dresses have been featured in countless publications and worn by real brides all over the world.
